Date of appointment

Lucio Genovese joined the Board on 13 February 2019 and was appointed Non-executive Chair on 24 August 2020. From 1 July 2023, Mr Genovese is acting as Executive Chair on an interim basis, assuming leadership of the Group.

Background and experience

Lucio is the CEO of Nage Capital Management in Baar, Switzerland. In September 2021, Lucio was appointed as Chair of CoTec Holdings Corp. He also serves on the boards of Ferrexpo AG and Nevada Copper Inc. He previously worked at Glencore International AG where he held several senior positions, including CEO of the CIS region. Lucio previously served on the Board of Ferrexpo plc from 2007 to 2014.
Lucio is a Chartered Accountant and has a B.Comm and B.Acc from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (South Africa).

Date of appointment

Yaroslavna Blonska joined Ferrexpo in 2002.

In August 2022 Yaroslavna was appointed the Acting Group Chief Marketing Officer.

Background and experience

Since joining Ferrexpo Yaroslavna has held a number of key roles within the Group’s Marketing team, including Head of Sales for customers in Europe and Turkey, management of the Group’s Asian and European customers, membership of the representative board for the Group’s port loading subsidiary “TIS-Ruda”. Yaroslavna has been acting as a focal point for the Group’s government and public relations within Ukraine. She has also been managing Ferrexpo’s office in Kyiv since 2006. Yaroslavna has been helping to facilitate Group’s “Fe_Munity” women in leadership programme as a speaker and a mentor.

Yaroslavna holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Kyiv State Economic University and a post graduate Diploma in Law from Taras Shevchenko National University, Kyiv.

Date of appointment

Nikolay Kladiev joined the Group in 2005. On 4 August 2021, Nikolay was appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed to the Board on 25 May 2023.

Background and experience

During his 17 years with Ferrexpo, Nikolay has overseen FPM's finance function, and has been directly responsible for maintaining the Group's position as a low cost pellet producer during this time and contributed significantly to the Group's IPO. Prior to Ferrexpo, Nikolay held a number of audit positions with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Nikolay holds a Masters in International Economic Relations from the Kyiv National University of Economics.

Viktor Lotous joined FPM in 1986.

Background and experience

Victor became chief engineer in 1997, and Head of Managing Board and Chief Operating Officer of Ferrexpo Poltava Mining in April 2007. He is a graduate of Kryvyi Rih Mining and Ore Institute, and of the Kyiv State Economic University, specialising in Finance.

Date of appointment

Greg joined Ferrexpo in January 2014.

Background and experience

Greg held a variety of international Human Resource leadership positions with Anglo American and BHP Billiton before establishing his own human resources consultancy to a range of clients across the UK. Particular specialisms include project management and business change execution, organisational effectiveness, talent management, governance and compliance, and leadership development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a post graduate Diploma in Education from the University of the Witwatersrand, together with advanced management qualifications from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
